The proverb I have is “Even a monkey falls off a tree” where I defined it as “we are not perfect”. I chose this proverb because it was the only one I could understand the meaning to. I kind of regret choosing the proverb later on, when I had to come up with ideas. I chose photography as my practice for this assignment and coming with ideas on “we are not perfect” was a challenge. Kristy helped me with some ideas on this proverb which really gave me an image of how I’m gonna do my photo shoots. Another challenge I faced during this working time was getting models. I had my friends (Sims & Kitana) to model for me but they were also busy on their work, I ask my family to model for me but they did not agree until I told them that I was desperate. I ended up not using some of their images because I personally didn’t like the lighting. Printing the images was a very difficult task due to the fact that I had no idea what I was doing but good news, I DID IT. My images came out amazingly well, I’m happy with how they turnout only problem was the paper wasn’t the one I wanted. Karen wasn’t there to change the paper and so had to print them in glossy paper. Overall the work I did my favorite moment was taking photos with my idiot friends which I’m thankful for.

My Best 10

Week 5
The verb I had was “Permeate”. The definitions I found out were, passing through , fill, spread through, pervade, penetrate, send throughout, filtered through, soak through and more. I defined “permeate” as fill, spread throughout and passing through because I could understand what those words mean. It made me think of balls and arrows passing through objects. It also made me think of and object nearly covered with paint. I don’t have an artist model that inspired me with my work. I’ve just been working with what ever idea that came into my beautiful brain and great ideas I’ve got from classmates and also from my teachers. All my work were just ideas I got from using the other meanings to the verb I had. So I guess the meanings of the verb was really what inspired me with great, amazing, and helpful ideas. I had one artist model that Kristy introduced to me but I only used it on some of my hybrid work.
